HELP FOR LIBERIA
Liberia has finally gained the attention of the U.S. Hopefully, and prayerfully, the situation there will soon become stable and Operation Classroom can once again take up its work of helping upgrade the United Methodist Schools in Liberia.
Rev. Joe Wagner, missioner assigned to head Operation Classroom, says that we will begin shipping to Liberia as soon as it is safe. With many living in displacement camps, on the street, wherever they can find a bit of shelter, we need to continue to collect needed supplies:
- good used summer clothing
- household items
- blankets
- health supplies
- school supplies for children and youth
Work/study scholarships for students are needed. Your gift of $50 will provide a student with tuition and fees for an academic year.
