THANK YOU

Thank you David Vaughn.

David serves as the pastor of Trinity UMC in Morristown. I guess you are wondering why I am thanking him? Well, I was on my way Saturday, Nov. 20th to the Dialogue on Racism at Gray United Methodist Church when I made a wrong turn and David spotted me in front of him. He chased me down and turned me around. He didn’t have to do that, but he did.

It is good when people are willing to go out of their way to assist someone else. It can be awful risky in today’s climate when many seem to resent assistance to reach out to those needing help. But, isn’t that what we are called to do? And just like David we must go out of our way to help others.

Thank you David Vaughn, from your bishop who was lost.
