Buffalo Mountain is a 500+ acre site located adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest, near Jonesborough, Tenn. It is one of four camps sponsored by the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. Buffalo Mountain Camp currently serves approximately 900 campers in its summer ministry and hosts retreat groups on a year-round basis. The director oversees the entire camp ministry including: summer program coordination, development, and oversight; recruiting and training of summer camp staff; supervision of property, office, hospitality managers, and seasonal kitchen and program staff; maintaining annual operating budget; coordinating site and fund-development efforts. Candidates must have Christian faith consistent with standards and beliefs of the United Methodist Church. Bachelor's degree and certifications in related areas desired. Open to laity or clergy.
