Puppets, Magic & Boat Rides
Children's Day is June 11
Kids ages three and up are invited to participate in Children's Day activities at Annual Conference, June 11 at Harrell Center Auditorium in Lake Junaluska, N.C.
Activities include a gospel magic show, boat rides, museum scavenger hunt, a puppet troupe from Jones Memorial UMC, and games to help children learn more about in-conference missions.
Participants may bring a special offering of school supplies (one-subject notebooks, notebook paper, pencils, books for all ages). The offering will be distributed among seven in-conference missions including Bethlehem Center in Chattanooga and Project Crossroads in Marion, Va.
Children must be accompanied by an adult or be a part of a chaperoned group from a church. Please bring a bag lunch and drink. T-shirts will be sold for $7.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. on June 11. Activities begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 pm. Children's Day is sponsored by the Holston Conference Children's Ministries Team. For more information, contact the conference children's ministries office at (423) 928-2156.
