It is one of four camps sponsored by the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. Camp Dickenson currently serves approximately 530 campers in its summer ministry, and hosts retreat groups on a year round basis. The director oversees the entire camp ministry including: summer program coordination, development and oversight; recruiting and training summer camp staff; supervision of property manager, office manager, seasonal kitchen staff, and seasonal program staff; maintaining annual operating budget.
