Annual Conference is only a few days away, and several groups are planning to gather for special meals throughout the June 8-11 meeting in Lake Junaluska, N.C. Some of the events include the Asbury Seminary Breakfast on June 9, the Christian Educators' Luncheon on June 11, and the Ice Cream Social for all Annual Conference participants on June 10. Harvey Brown Will Discuss 'Sexual Brokenness'

Speaking of special events, the Extension Ministries Breakfast on June 10 will address the topic, "Sexual Brokenness in the Church." Harvey Brown, Holston elder and president of Impact Ministries, will speak and then lead a discussion among participants. All Annual Conference members appointed beyond the local church are invited to attend. The breakfast is at 7 a.m. in the Terrace, room 316. Don't Miss This: Free Child Care

Annual Conference participants are reminded that child care is provided free throughout all sessions for children ages six months to 12 years. No pre-registration is required; just go to the Children's Building (near the pool) at Lake Junaluska Assembly.

It's a Real Powwow in Tellico Plains

Holston Conference Native American Ministries will host their fifth annual Gathering at Coker Creek Village near Tellico Plains, Tenn., on Sept. 20-21. The event will feature Native American artist Bill Miller, workshops and a powwow. Registrations forms are available through district offices and at Annual Conference in Lake Junaluska, N.C. Seniors Wanted for Michigan Adventure

The seniors group at First Broad Street United Methodist Church is organizing a bus trip to Michigan's upper peninsula. The Sept. 14-19 trip includes two nights at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and a carriage tour of the island. Cost is $816 per person, departing from Kingsport, Tenn.
