Mamie Lee Finger
ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Mamie Lee Ratliff Finger, 88, wife of retired Bishop Ellis Finger Jr., died Feb. 13. She is survived by her husband, Bishop Finger of Asheville; two sons, Homer Ellis Finger III of Easton, Pa., and William Ratliff Finger of Raleigh; one daughter, Elizabeth Ellen Finger of Arden, N.C.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Feb. 15 at Givens Estates in Asheville. Carl Swanson
OAKLAND, Calif. — Carl Edward Swanson, 91, father of Bishop James Edward Swanson Sr., died Jan. 31. He is survived by four daughters, five sons, 23 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
