From District Roundup

Knoxville: The congregation at Huckleberry Springs UMC was recently shocked and hurt to discover a pile of more than 100 old tires dumped on the church cemetery. Parishioner Cecil Frazier discovered the tires when he went to decorate the grave of his 18-year-old daughter, who died of cancer years ago. Tire tracks and old steel gas tanks also littered the gravesites. The Knox County sheriff's department investigated, then sent a crew out to clean up the cemetery. "The church was fortunate that we didn't have to find the manpower and the $2 per tire to dispose of the mess," says Pastor Jimmy Sherrod.
