Fan Ministry

Abingdon: During Vacation Bible School at South Bristol UMC, children and adults collected coins and were told to choose a mission project. Because the temperature was in the high 90s that week, they decided to buy fans for the sick and elderly. The Rev. Charles Ledger got wind that the Salvation Army had compiled a list of people requesting fans, so the children joyfully delivered 12 new fans, bought with their offerings.
