Tsunami Bracelets
Oak Ridge: The kids at Mt. Hermon UMC wanted to help tsunami victims, so they're selling three different bracelets for $2 each throughout the community. Green bracelets signify "hearts of hope"; blue, "one world, one cause"; and pink, "recover, relief, rebuild." The goal is to send $750 to United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), says the Rev. Gregg Bostick. The sale goes on through April. Holston members who want to buy bracelets should make checks payable to Mt. Hermon and send to: Gregg Bostick, 132 Lane Road, Lenoir City, TN 37772.
