Wytheville: In a community where "everybody loves pancakes," West Galax UMC held a pancake supper and country store to raise money for tsunami victims. The Rev. Joe Carrico reports that about 40 church volunteers sold pancakes and waffles with special toppings and also brought in baked goods, canned goods, crafts and used tools for a country store. Total raised for UMCOR: $1,338.
