It's Conference Time

On June 8, more than 1,600 clergy and lay members representing 931 congregations in Holston will travel to Lake Junaluska, N.C., for Annual Conference 2003. Last minute information for participants and non-participants:
  • Bishop Ray Chamberlain calls members to "constant humility" and "honest dialogue" in his column on page 2. "Being convinced we are right about an issue does not mean we are," he says.

  • For on-site news and information, look for the Annual Conference edition of The Call. The first issue will be available June 8 at registration in Harrell Center.

  • For rehearsal schedules, the "Book of Reports," and other valuable information, go to http://holston.org/ac

  • Retired clergy and spouses with questions about health insurance are urged to attend a special chat room at Harrell Center on Monday, June 9, at 3 p.m. Another chat room with the Council on Finance & Administration, Board of Pensions, and Personnel Resources Team will be held in Terrace Auditorium, Monday, June 9, at 3 p.m.

  • Not attending Annual Conference? See it online! Go to www.holston.org/ac. Proceedings begin June 8 at 4 p.m. and continue through June 11 at 3:25 p.m.
