Sex ethics in September

Ooltewah, Tenn. — An estimated 1,000 clergy and staff/parish committee members attended Sexual Ethics Training throughout Holston last month. Clergy were required to participate in one of five workshops scheduled Sept. 27-30 at five locations. Leading the training sessions was Nashville-based Garlinda Burton, chief executive of the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women. The first session was held at Ooltewah UMC on Sept. 27.
