Family violence seminar: Nov. 7
Holston clergy have been invited to attend a family violence conference in Knoxville, Tenn. “Responding to Family Violence: Counseling Tech- niques for Religious Professionals, Social Workers & Psychologists” will be held Nov. 7, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Foundry, 747 World¡òs Fair Park. Organ & Tissue Donor Sunday: Nov. 9
Congregations are encouraged to support Organ & Tissue Donor Sab- bath (also known as National Donor Sabbath) on Sunday, Nov. 9 or later in the month, according to a resolu- tion approved by the Holston Annual Conference in June 2003. Register now for Divine Rhythm
Young adults are encouraged to register now for Divine Rhythm, the conference¡òs annual spiritual event held Jan. 23-24 in Gatlinburg. Held for the first time in Gatlinburg¡òs IMAX theatre, Divine Rhythm 2004 features the Rev. Arnetta Beverly of Western North Carolina Conference as speaker. Missionaries available to speak
