Praying with Bishop Looney:

The Knoxville District is sponsoring a "Responding to God Prayer Encounter" on Nov. 10 at Cokesbury Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Led by Bishop Richard Looney, the encounter will address questions such as "If God knows everything, why pray?" and "Is it OK to pray for myself?"
The seminar is approved for continuing education credit for clergy and for advanced lay speaker training credit. Cost is $20 per person, including textbooks, refreshments and snack supper. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. and concludes at 7 p.m. For more information, call (865) 470-7005.
