Clergy Appreciation Month: Do anything special?
Many Holston ministers were honored with special gifts or recognition for Clergy Appreciation Month in October. Heres what one Oak Ridge District congregation did for their pastor:
During our announcement time in the worship service our lay leader said that he had a concern and wanted me to join him at the front of the altar. He then presented me with a bookstore gift certificate for Clergy Appreciation Month. That was nice to be remembered, and other kind words were said by others at the close of service.
Rev. James Titcombe, pastor at Bethel-Grigsby Chapel UMC.
