Toll the bell: A prayer in memory of Katrina

On Aug. 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Region of the United States. More than one million people were under evacuation orders, and 1,833 people died. The General Board of Discipleship invites you to say a prayer for the survivors and to ring a bell in memory of those who perished.

Youth workers: Running on empty?

Holston's F.U.E.L. Sabbath Retreat allows you to be filled with God's spirit by honoring Sabbath. The retreat will be held Sept. 22-24 at Steiner Bell Lodge of the Wa-Floy Retreat Center, outside of Gatlinburg, Tenn.
